Dr. Robert Rayburn earned a B.A. from Covenant College, an MDiv from Covenant Theological Seminary and a PhD University of Aberdeen (New Testament). He also did post-graduate work at the Free University of Amsterdam. He is Pastor Emeritus at Faith Presbyterian Church in Tacoma, Washington, where he served as Senior Pastor for 41 years. Dr. Rayburn’s published works include a Commentary on Hebrews in the Baker Bible Dictionary and The Truth in Both Extremes: Paradox in Biblical Revelation, published in 2021 by Wipf & Stock. He and his wife Florence have five children and 16 grandchildren.
